Hardware Operator

Hardware Operator

Press in hardware to print and manufactures recommendation using Haeger installation equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operator installs the correct Pem hardware using the information on the traveler and drawings.
  • Requests QA personnel to inspect first articles.
  • Operator scans work order at the beginning and completion of each work order in E2 software.
  • Set up installation presses using the correct tooling for each type of hardware.
  • Programming controllers to make sure that the correct specifications are used for installation.

Required Skills:

  • Learn and understand the correct hardware used in different materials.
  • Work closely and assist others in handling large parts.
  • Learn Pem part numbers and understand how to decode what they mean.
  • Understand how to read and get needed information from the Pem catalog.
  • Scan in work order start and stop times in the data collection devices for E2.

Desired Skills:

  • Operate machinery in a safe manner.
  • Ability to distinguish material types and gauges.
  • Operate Forklift.
  • Operate basic hand tools.

  • Must be able to stand 8 hours
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
